Warranty Information

📜 What warranty do your products come with?

All Restmaker products are backed by a warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty periods vary by product:

  • 🛏️ Mattresses: 10, 5, or 3 years depending on the collection.
  • 📦 Bed frames and bases: 1-year or 2-year warranty.
  • ✨ Accessories: As listed on individual product pages.

The warranty period starts from the date your product is delivered.

✅ What is covered?

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship — problems that result from how the product was made. This includes:

  • 🌀 Faulty spring systems or support cores.
  • 🧽 Foam deterioration beyond normal use.
  • 🏗️ Structural failures in bed frames or bases (not caused by misuse).
  • 🧵 Stitching or cover defects not caused by wear or accidental damage.

❌ What is NOT covered?

The warranty does not apply to:

  • ⏳ Normal wear and tear.
  • ☕ Staining, soiling, or liquid damage.
  • 💥 Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to maintain the product.
  • 🛠️ Products that have been altered or modified.
  • 🎨 Minor cosmetic variations in colour, texture, or finish.
  • 📦 Damage to packaging only (if the product inside arrived in good condition).
  • 🏨 Use in commercial settings such as hotels, accommodation, or gyms.

📩 How do I make a warranty claim?

Email us at info@restmaker.au with the following:

  • 1️⃣ Your order number and proof of purchase.
  • 2️⃣ A clear description of the issue.
  • 3️⃣ Photos (and/or video) showing the defect.

We’ll review your claim and get back to you as soon as possible.

🛠️ How will my claim be resolved?

Once we’ve reviewed your claim, we’ll work with you on the most practical solution. In order of preference, we offer:

  • 🔩 Spare parts — if the issue can be fixed with a replacement part, we’ll send it at no cost to you.
  • 💵 Partial refund or store credit — for minor defects where keeping the product makes practical sense.
  • 🔄 Replacement — if the product needs replacing and a replacement is available.
  • 💰 Full refund — if the product can’t be repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe.

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

🏢 Returning a product for assessment

If we ask you to return a product for inspection, we’ll provide a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Please return the item to:

📍 Restmaker — Unit 21, 70 Bridge Street, Picton NSW 2571

Pack the item carefully to avoid damage in transit. We are not responsible for damage that occurs during return shipping.

💡 A few things to keep in mind

🛡️ 1. Mattress protectors

Using a mattress protector is strongly recommended and is required to maintain warranty coverage. Staining or liquid damage to an unprotected mattress will void the warranty.

🔧 2. Minor DIY fixes

For minor issues that can be resolved simply (such as tightening a bolt or wiping down a surface mark), we may ask you to do that first. We’ll provide a partial refund or store credit as appropriate.

☀️ Outdoor products

Products used outdoors will naturally wear faster due to weather and UV exposure. This type of wear is not covered under warranty.
